For such a time as this….?

Winter is such a beautiful time in Ipswich, mornings as crisp as chilled apples, crystal clear days perfect for cycling, cheeks rosy from the cold air, along paths scattered with fallen leaves and evenings of jigsaw puzzles, apple & cinnamon turnovers and hot chocolate around the coffee table. I spend a lot of time reading at this time of year and find so much inspiration from the lives of those who have gone before me. When I close my eyes I imagine them like the crowd in the Olympic Stadium cheering me on as I now run my own race. Each of us are but a small piece of the jigsaw puzzle of humanity, but it’s amazing how important each piece is, you know what its like when you can’t find that final piece. Each piece has a unique design, pattern and colours, by themselves they don’t seem to stand out or seem that special but when combined in the right way, form a splendid picture. Whilst we may not all feature in the history books, our lives are precious and each one of us has special gifts to share with the world. We have all come into the world ‘for such a time as this’ and to be part of the majestic symphony of creation. By developing, enjoying & sharing the gifts we are blessed with we can find a great sense of joy, fulfillment and peace. It’s an adventure to find the gifts sometimes, like a treasure hunt and takes a lifetime….but it’s all part of the journey!

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Howard Thurman (1899 – 1981)

When it comes to coffee tables, i always prefer to buy glass coffee tables since they look very elegant specially to my visitors. ‘”*’:
